Important reminders in case of vehicular accidents:

  1. Immediately report the accident to the nearest police station and obtain a copy of the police report.
  2. Get the plate numbers of the vehicles. Also, get the names and addresses of drivers who were involved in the accident.
  3. Get a copy of the insurance policy of the adversed vehicle (if any).

Inform Yapster immediately (any time and any day). Yapster will arrange for inspection of the vehicle and inform client about the schedule.

Prepare the documents as required by Yapster (see list of requirements for motor car claim). The list of requirements may vary depending on the case of motor car claim.

Submit requirements to Yapster. Yapster Account Officers are available to assist you on any concern with regards to the requirements.

Inform Yapster on preferred schedule and accredited dealer or shop for repair of the vehicle damage. Yapster will coordinate with the dealer or shop regarding schedule and issue a Letter of Authority for the repair.

Bring the vehicle to the accredited dealer or shop. Yapster will assist you all throughout the activities to ensure a smooth process flow and immediate action on concerns.
